What is a Source Book?

A fashion source book is a useful tool to compile, collect, and use as a reference for various sources of inspiration in the fashion industry. It's convenient to have a place to save resources whether articles, images, or other blog posts that I find inspirational. Also, this source book will serve as a useful aid while I'm working on my thesis project for my midpoint review this spring, which is a fashion photography series about the culture of Miami. But of course, all this useful information cannot be stored in simply one place (I back up everything irreplaceable), so I find that a pdf file, backup disk, and such are necessary in-addition-to's. It would be very upsetting to lose all this information, so no need to leave it beyond my control!

I am posting a Dolce & Gabbana ad for Vogue. Photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein, & Steven Meisel - regular contributors to Vogue Magazine - are always among my list of inspirations and photographers whose work I admire.
